Nicole Kidman looked incredible in bejewelled blue Armani as she walked the red carpet for the opening ceremony of Cannes Film Festival 2014 which was also the premiere of her highly-anticipated new film, Grace Of Monaco.
The actress teamed the strapless gown with a diamond cuff and earrings, while her hair was swept into a pretty side ponytail.
She posed with co-star Paz Vega as the red carpet filled up with more stars and even better fashion.
Blake Lively wore a burgundy gown with thigh-high split while model Karlie Kloss opted for a super conservative, lace Victorian-inspired number.
Laetitia Casta was incredible in white Christian Dior Couture and Zoe Saldana opted for floor-length ivory Victoria Beckham.

The Kidman-starring Grace Kelly biopic, which documents her life after she married Prince Rainier III, was screened for critics ahead of its official premiere and so far reviews have been slightly less than glowing.
Peter Bradshaw for The Guardian gave the film one star and described it as "so awe-inspiringly wooden that it is basically a fire-risk".
Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter branded it "a stiff, stagey, thuddingly earnest affair" and the Telegraph complained the script is "thoroughly awful".
So, not a great start for the first big film of the festival. But then, Cannes is a notoriously difficult festival to premiere well for blockbusters. The Great Gatsby received a similarly negative response in 2013.
Our advice? Like the adaptation of the F Scott Fitzgerald's book, it sounds like this is one to watch more if you're a fan of fashion on the big screen than truly moving cinema.
