Noel Gallagher's daughter Anais has landed a job as a children's TV presenter at the age of 14.

Anais, daughter of the Oasis singer/song writer with first wife Meg Matthews, will be giving her own fashion and style tips on CBBC's Friday Download.

She will join a host of teen presenters including singer Dionne Bromfield, who is back for her second series.

A source said: "Bosses see great potential in Anais. She auditioned and was an instant hit.

"Anais is a quick learner and very natural on screen. Of course, her connections played a part. All going well they could develop her within the company as a future star."

PR and party organiser mum Meg has been the driving force behind her big break, encouraging Anais to pursue a career on the telly.

Another leg-up for her new job was Anais' previous presenting experience on fashion website Claire's Accessories, which saw her film footage with band The Vamps.

Noel and Meg were married for three years before they had Anais in 2000. They divorced a year later, after Noel met his current wife Sara Macdonald, with whom he has two sons Donovan and Sonny.
