Nursery Worker Pleads Guilty To Indecently Assaulting Three-Year-Old

Nursery worker pleads guilty to indecently assaulting three-year-old

A 24-year-old man who worked in a nursery school has pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting a three-year-old.

Andrew James Maddrell, from Douglas, Isle of Man, was employed by Sandcastles Kindergarten when he carried out the attack.

The Isle of Man Today reports that other offences in relation to separate charges towards children were withdrawn.

Maddrell had previously pleaded guilty to possessing 232 indecent images of children, none of whom were connected to the nursery school.

The BBC reports that Maddrell was placed in custody until his sentencing hearing on September 23.
