New research has revealed that parents shell out £2,000 in school run motoring costs every year, and clock up a staggering 1,248 miles - and all just to keep their children happy!
A poll of 2,000 mums found that they spend an average of six hours and 43 minutes behind the wheel every week ferrying their kids to and from school, as well as to after school clubs and to their friends' houses.
