The People's Choice Awards kicked off red carpet season at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Okay, this event doesn't draw in as many famous faces as the Golden Globes or the most important of them all, the Oscars, but Hollywood stars Sandra Bullock, Jessica Alba and Britney Spears were all in attendance.
So - how did they look? The best dressed girls were in knee-length dresses.
Sandra Bullock, who picked up four awards on the night, was dressed in a pretty printed cocktail dress by Peter Pilotto. And those lime green stilettos? They're from Kurt Geiger. (Hurrah! Not every A-list actress wears Jimmy Choo.)
Jessica Alba looked incredible as always in a strapless Jason Wu design and Girls star Allison Williams looked super chic in a David Koma dress.
As for the not-so-well dressed, Britney Spears led the way in a Mikael D bodycon. Britney, we love you but that apricot and silver colour combination is just a bit weird.
Other questionable dress choices came from Melissa Rauch (she's in The Big Bang Theory) who brought more than a splash of colour to the red carpet in a shiny fuchsia gown.
Talking of shiny, Cheryl Burke (she's a professional dancer on Dancing With The Stars) took care of metallic mini dresses in her sparkly strapless style - with a few unnecessary cut-outs.
