Peter Andre has admitted that he and his fiancée Emily MacDonagh didn't plan to have their daughter Amelia.
"Accidents do happen!" he confessed. "But what a beautiful accident this was."
Amelia is Peter's first child with 24-year-old medical student Emily, and he is keen to have more - but all in good time as he counting on there being no more 'beautiful accidents!'
"Ems has to finish her degree first – she only has one more year to do and I'm so proud of her," Peter, 41, told OK! magazine, before adding:
"We need to get married first before we have another baby."
Emily and Peter enjoyed a rare night out last week, when the couple attended the Butterfly Ball in aid of Caudwell Children's charity, and the new mum admitted she found it tough leaving Amelia for the evening, despite knowing she was in safe hands with her mother.
"I missed her too much, I'm terrible," she said. "I spend all my time with her now so to not be with her, I feel like there's a bit missing."
Peter will soon be living apart from Emily and Amelia, as he is heading off on tour in September. Let's hope the doting dad doesn't find it as hard being away from his daughter as his fiancée does.
He's already planned some strategies to help make the separation easier:
"I've recently started FaceTiming," he says. "So there will be no doubt be a lot of video calling going on to make sure we're always in close contact."
