Peter Andre has spoken about the joys of family life, saying that he and fiancée Emily MacDonagh have become closer since the arrival of baby Amelia.
"In this relationship, I can't see anything bad. It's all going so wonderfully," Peter gushed to Reveal in the wake of the couple's two-year anniversary last month. "This is just a completely different relationship and it really works.
"Although Amelia wasn't planned, she solidified that relationship. It's like consummating a marriage. It's a way of making it real. I love our relationship. We've gone from strength to strength."
The Aussie singer has made no secret of the fact that Amelia, who will be seven months old next week, was the result of a surprise pregnancy. "Accidents do happen!" the 41-year-old admitted back in May. "But what a beautiful accident this was."
Amelia was born on January 7, but it was nearly a month before the new parents were able to decide on a name for the newborn. Their shortlist included traditional favourites like Rose, Elizabeth and Isabella.
Peter even shared his naming woes with the nation on the Jonathan Ross Show.
Finally, in February, he revealed via his Twitter account that the family had settled on the name Amelia - with some help from his two other children, Junior, nine, and seven-year-old Princess Tiaamii, from his marriage to Katie Price.
Emily, who at 24 is 17 years Peter's junior, was studying medicine at the University of Bristol when she fell pregnant. She put her course on hold for a year, but next month she will return for the final year of her studies, after which she will be a fully-fledged doctor.
The couple are now preparing to live apart this autumn, as Peter heads out on tour for three months while Emily and baby Amelia will stay at her parents' home in Somerset.
The Mysterious Girl singer admitted in an interview in April that 'September's gonna be tough'. Judging by his latest loved-up comments, it seems that the pair will be champing at the bit to settle back into family life when Peter's tour is over.
