Peter Andre has become a father for the third time - his girlfriend Emily MacDonagh gave birth to a daughter last night.
News of the arrival first broke on Twitter, as fans tweeted from Musgrove Park Hospital, Somerset. One wrote: 'Peter Andre is in the hospital I work at with Emily and his baby daughter omg.'
But Peter, 40, kept quiet about the new arrival until this morning, when he announced on new digital entertainment platform Entrago:
"Now that I have had the opportunity to tell Junior & Pringles [Peter's nickname for his daughter Princess Tiaamii], we are very happy to announce the safe arrival of our beautiful baby girl:) We are extremely thrilled and mum and bubba are doing fine. We are looking forward to a nice quiet couple of weeks getting to know our baby. Thanks to everyone at Musgrove Park Hospital :)))"
The couple announced the pregnancy in July 2013, and since then Peter's made no secret of the fact he's extremely proud of Emily, 24.
Peter is well practiced at looking after newborns, as he is already dad to Junior, eight, and Princess Tiaamii, six, his children with his former wife, model and business woman Katie Price. And it seems the arrival of a daughter means Peter will have a little helper to hand, as he previously told Now magazine:
"Junior is happy either way, but Pringles says she won't be happy if it's not a girl. If it's a boy, she's not changing nappies or doing anything. So now I'm like: 'Please let it be a girl!'"
