Pippa Middleton used to be a big rugby fan. Like, HUGE. Why? She had a massive crush on former England captain Will Carling when she was growing up.
The Duchess of Cambridge's big sis has revealed the whole Middleton family used to watch the big matches all together in her column for Vanity Fair magazine.
"Rugby was a big thing for our family, and the focal point was international matches, which were often played on Saturday afternoons and were as much social as sporting occasions."
Pippa, 33, confessed: " I would be pining after the likes of Will Carling or Jonny Wilkinson, the heroes when I was a teenager."
She's a competitive, sporty gal (apparently gets it from her grandmother) who liked her men to be of the big, burly variety as a teenager. But Pip has wound up falling head over heels for Nico Jackson, a stockbroker at Deutsche Bank. Oh how things change.
