A leading boarding school for girls invited a cosmetic surgeon to talk to its students about plastic surgery.
Marc Pacifico, who specialises in breast implants, addressed girls at Rodean school in Sussex, where fees are up to £10,450 a term.
The pupils were said to have been given the lecture as a lesson on how to make the most of their bodies.
A spokesperson for the school said they often invite speakers from the world of medicine to talk to the pupils.
"The school has a long history of ties to science and medicine in particular, so we invite a range of people in to inspire the girls in their careers," a spokesman said, adding that the cosmetic surgery lecture 'focused on reconstructive surgery, in particular'.
Hmmm. Darling, what did you do at school? I listened to a talk from a plastic surgeon.
