A mum-of-two who 'glassed' a man and left him with horrific eye injuries has been told she was lucky to escape with just a 12-month jail sentence.
Regan Annalise Round-Hare, aged 22, of Rotherham, had attempted to have her prison term reduced after admitting unlawfully wounding Michael Leasley.
Mr Leasley was left with long-term damage to his left eye after Round-Hare struck him with a wine glass as she sat in the passenger seat of a car last May and he walked past.
Now pregnant with her third child, she went to the Court of Appeal to have her sentence slashed, but was told by judges that she had left her victim with a serious injury and shown no remorse.
They ruled that the 12 months detention handed down by Sheffield Crown Court in September was 'not excessive'.
