Smitten grandaddy Prince Charles revealed Kate and Will's little one (full name Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge) will be known as *does drum roll on desk* Georgie!
Speaking at the Whitstable Oyster Festival on Monday Charles said that George was "a very good name" and that "he'll be known as Georgie in no time". Bless.
The Prince of Wales said he was "pleased as punch" about the arrival of his first grandchild, and when asked what the baby was like he replied, "Oh, wonderful. Very loud, but wonderful. When I saw him he was crying his eyes out like all babies do I suppose."
He added: "It's fantastic to have another addition to the family." We couldn't agree more.
