Prince Harry's Brazil And Chile Tour Details Revealed

The official details on Prince Harry's tour of Brazil and Chile have been revealed by Clarence House and let's just say he's got one busy schedule ahead.

The 29-year-old royal arrived in Brazil today and has seven days of official engagements before he returns to Blighty. The perfect distraction to keep him from pining for Cressida Bonas, no?

The last time Harry visited South America was during his visit to Brazil in March 2012. This year, however, he will see two FIFA World Cup football matches (how could he not?) tour hospitals, schools, military bases and meet with local charities and representatives from environmental projects.

So, what does his itinerary look like?

On Monday Harry will visit a hospital in Brazil which specialises in rehabilitation before he watches the Cameroon v Brazil World Cup match. Then on Tuesday, he's in Belo Horizonte where will go to the training base for Team GB and Paralympics GB during the Rio 2016 Olympics, and then the royal is set to cheer on England when they play Costa Rica for the World Cup match.

On the 27th June, Harry will then move onto Chile where he will visit the Presidential Palace as well as a kindergarten for underprivileged children before rounding up his trip on the 29th June.

Prince Harry's private secretary Edward Lane Fox said: "The itinerary is tailored to Prince Harry's interests and, as you may expect, will contain both a mixture of formal and informal.

"When the eyes of the world are on Brazil and the wider South American continent during the World Cup, the timing of Prince Harry's visit will allow these countries to showcase their positive social support programmes."
