The schoolboy who was pestered for sex by his drama teacher is training to be a drama teacher himself.
We reported recently how 28-year-old former actress Lindsay Black made advances towards the 17-year-old via text messages and social networking sites after casting him as the lead in a school play.
A disciplinary hearing into her behaviour also found the teacher had 'sexually explicit' chats with her sixth form students.
The student she pestered for sex was left so affected by her advances that his academic performance suffered and he had to resit his AS levels.
He is now said to be 'putting distance' between himself and the episode, and starting a three-year degree after finally passing his drama A level.
The unnamed boy's dad told the Sun that he was having a 'great time' at university, but condemned the teacher's behaviour.
"The things she was saying she must have been mad," the dad said. "We just couldn't believe a teacher would act in that way - it's disgusting that someone who's been trusted with other people's children would behave like that."
"He's an adult now and he's putting some distance between himself and what happened," he added.
