Children at the Fred Longworth High School in Manchester are coming to terms with the tragic death of a second class-mate.
Brad Rotherwell, 11, was found hanged just two months after the death of another Longworth student, Jade Lomas-Anderson, who was killed in a dog attack in March.
Desperate attempts were made by paramedics to revive Brad, but he was pronounced dead at his home in Atherton, Greater Manchester.
The youngster was branded a 'smiling young man with buckets of enthusiasm and manners' in one tribute to him on a social networking site.
The Sun reports that he had lost his mum to cancer in 2010, and later organised a 10km walk to raise money for the hospice that looked after her.
The police have said they are not treating his death as suspicious.
