Shave Or Style: How Nina Nesbitt Transformed Her Hair For Macmillan Cancer Support

Macmillan Cancer Support's latest campaign, Shave or Style is a great way to show off your new summer 'do and support those suffering from cancer.

From the 19 - 25 July, participants are invited to style their hair in an interesting way or join the Brave Shavers (if you dare). This summer is brimming with hot hair trends, so try them out, share a pic and text STYLE to 70550 to donate £3 to Macmillan.

The campaign has teamed up with several celebrities including lingerie model Abbey Clancy and singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt to promote the campaign.

After spending her summer at festivals, we caught up with Nina to find out her best summer haircare tips and how she'll be getting involved with Shave or Style:

1. On styling her hair for the event

For Shave or Style, I'll be going for a 60s style look: black short and messy look, the opposite of my normal hair (peroxide blonde beachy waves)!

2. On her summer haircare routine

I'm on the move a lot at the moment doing festivals so I usually get out of the shower, spray some surf spray and get outside for it to dry!

3. On her favourite hairstyling product

I swear by a good leave-in conditioner and add surf/salt spray to add texture.

4. On her hair inspiration

Debbie Harry or Brigitte Bardot

5. On her ultimate festival hairstyle

I don't think you can get too complicated for a festival. If you're out the front you need to be out and about watching the bands! I think hair jewellery is a great festival look but if I'm performing I usually just go for hair down and wavy so I can flip it about on stage freely!
