Simon Cowell took baby son Eric out and about yesterday (Thursday, February 20) with a look of pure pride on his face that said: "I'll never let you go, son."
The Britain's Got Talent supremo looked every inch the doting dad as he carried little Eric around Manhattan, with a firm grasp on his baby's carrier.
And the new arrival clearly felt very safe and secure with his dad – he was fast asleep, despite the chilly New York weather.
As Simon partner Lauren Silverman left their New York hotel, the new dad walked down the steps with super caution – after all, cargo doesn't come more precious than a newborn baby!
The trio's trip out came a day after Simon and Lauren attended the Family Court in Manhattan in New York on Wednesday, where they are said to have applied for a passport for Eric.
When asked outside what it was like to spend time with his son, the proud 54-year-old replied: "Amazing, thank you."
A source told TMZ the couple were there to file paperwork to obtain the travel documents, which will be essential due to the music executive's busy lifestyle.
