Myleene Klass has defended herself against critics who say all she does is 'prance around in a bikini'.
The single mum of two said 'I work bloody hard' and revealed the struggles she faces.
The model, musician and clothes designer was dumped by her husband Graham Quinn last year after just six months of marriage. They had been together for 11 years and have two daughters.
Since then, life has been 'manic', Myleene - who is mum to Ava, five, and two-year-old Hero - told a magazine.
She said: "I hang on with a hope and a prayer most days.
"I never have time for myself - I don't even remember the last time I read a book. But what I'm sacrificing is worth it.
"I've always said that if I was to start a business, I'd hire working mothers. The job would be finished by 5pm as everything would need to be done in time for tea and bed.
"From the outside, it might look like I just prance around in bikinis, but I work bloody hard.
"I design as a mum, and mums are the most powerful consumers because we haven't got time to mess around."
She added: "I really liked being pregnant and enjoyed not knowing what size I was.
"One time, I left the house and caught my bump in the door because I didn't realise how big I'd gotten.
"You feel like a superhero after having a baby. I felt invincible.
"Becoming a mum also made me stronger. I used to be frightened of my own shadow but now I don't think twice about moving spiders.
"All I care about is keeping my daughters safe and happy."
