Actress Tamzin Outhwaite and her husband Tom Ellis have separated a year after the birth of their second child.
The former EastEnders actress and Miranda co-star Tom have been married since June 2006 and have two daughters, four-year-old daughter Florence and Marnie Mae, who was born last year.
The couple, who have both starred in EastEnders, married a year after meeting through mutual friend James McAvoy back in 2005.
A statement released read: "Tamzin Outhwaite and Tom Ellis are sad to confirm they have separated. They continue to support each other as parents and will remain friends. They ask for sensitivity at this difficult time."
Tamzin will be seen next in BBC drama New Tricks, taking over from lead Amanda Redman.
Redman's character, Detective Superintendent Sandra Pullman, will be replaced by the ex-EastEnders star, who will appear on screens towards the end of the new series as DCI Sacha Millard.
We interviewed Tamzin back in February when she talked about how it was tough not getting enough time with Tom. Read the interview here.
