Taylor Swift literally looked like a princess as she arrived at Kensington Palace for the Winter Whites Gala on Tuesday night. And, as Kate Middleton was busy being mum, Taylor filled her shoes and chatted away to Prince William in her place.
The singer was breathtaking in her white and gold Reem Acra dress, which she accessorised with a Jenny Packham clutch, and Neil Lane jewellery. She finished the look with an ever-so-elegant soft side bun and glamorous red lips.
The £500-a-head ball was thrown in aid of Centrepoint, a charity for young homeless people.
Among the other guests were a host of stars, including Eliza Doolittle, Colin and Livia Firth, James Blunt, Tinie Tempah, and Jon Bon Jovi.
The crowd got something of a pleasant surprise when Prince William jumped on stage with Jon to sing Bon Jovi's hit Livin' On A Prayer, along with Taylor too.
Taylor, who performed her hits Trouble and Love Story in front of the 600-strong crowd, said she was "absolutely excited" to perform in a palace. And she seemed quite fond of the prince, telling the Daily Mail: "He was very funny. I was really happy he was funny."
Want to see him performing on stage? Of course you do! We aim to please...
