The teenage son of actress Danniella Westbrook was arrested after drugs were found in the car he was travelling in, according to a newspaper report.
Kai Jenkins, 17, was allegedly one of five arrested following a high speed police chase through Bishop's Stortford on January 19.
The group were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply after officers searched the car and found what is believed to be cannabis.
A 16-year-old, who fled from the scene following the dramatic midnight chase, was eventually captured and also arrested for a number of driving-related offences.
A source close to the Ex-EastEnders star, told the Sunday Mirror: "Danniella doesn't want to believe it. She simply doesn't believe Kai would be involved in anything like that - especially after everything she has been through in the past.
"Kai is denying any involvement and his mum is standing by him."
Danniella's agent Terry Mills said he could neither deny or confirm the teenager's arrest.
In a statement, Hertfordshire Police said: "Officers attempted to stop a vehicle on Dane Street, Bishop's Stortford, at around midnight on the morning of January 19th.
"The vehicle failed to stop and travelled to Stansted Road, where it then came to a stop. One person left the scene.

"Four people (who were passengers) were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. They are males aged 17,15, 15 and 20.
"A further male, a 16 year old, was arrested a short time later in Hockerill Street on suspicion of possession with intent to supply and a number of driving related offences."
Daniella, whose addiction to cocaine famously destroyed part of her nose in 2000, has been clean for 12 years.
On Valentine's Day, she proudly tweeted: "Full English with the most special man in my life'" with a picture of Kai attached.
On Saturday night, Danniella dismissed her troubles and tweeted: "When your in the eye of the storm, there's no friend like an old friend, who's got ya back, a ear 2 listen, advise 2 give & a hug. Thank u x."
