It's usually the dancers who are clad head-to-toe in razzle dazzle. But Tess Daly obviously wasn't going to be outshone - and decided, instead, to be the glitziest girl at the party or, should we say, at the launch of the new series of Strictly Come Dancing. *EXCITING*
Although the series always spells the beginning of autumn (sobs goodbye to summer), it also means the start of unashamedly glitterball-gorgeous ensembles for us to consume on a weekly basis.
And Tess kicked things off with a blinging bang, donning a gold sequin halter neck dress to the new series event at Elstree Studios. She wore her blonde curls swept over one shoulder, and showed off a sexy backless behind.
Judge Darcy Bussell opted for a fringed Flapper-style dress, while contestant Abbey Crouch was in a feathered, crystal-covered confection.
