You can now find out your perfect marriage date thanks to Time's new Facebook app. The love app, which launched this week, loosely predicts the ideal date for your nuptials by charting the media age at which your friends got hitched. Pretty much an exact science, right?
While I can sense you turning up your noses already, you KNOW deep down you're desperate to find yours out. Admit it!
"Is it time I got married?" asks the app... And one quick click later it turns out I really need to get my skates on if I'm to tie the knot on my "perfect" wedding day. I've just four months and 19 days to find someone willing to take my hand in marriage. Shit.
Well at least I haven't already committed my life to someone only to discover I should've put the wedding off for a while. Phew!
However, this app is kind of flawed. (Surprise, surprise.)
It doesn't take into account the actual number of your friends who are married in relation to how many friends you actually have on FB.
For example, just 10 of my Facebook pals have tied the knot and I've got around 400 friends, so I'm not going to worry too much about getting married asap.
So really, the app really tells you nothing about anything... But it's a fun waste of time, right?
