She's facing prison but that doesn't mean Tulisa Contostavlos can't treat herself to a trip to the beauty salon. The former X Factor judge will face charges today over allegations of supplying Class-A drugs to an undercover reporter in court.
The 25-year-old kept her head down as she was spotted at a beauty salon in London on Wednesday night.
She's also been hitting the gym and taking self-defence lessons because she's reportedly terrified of ending up behind bars. While she will plead not guilty, the possibility of a custodial sentence is still significant.
"Tulisa is on a keep-fit frenzy," a friend of the singer apparently told the Daily Star.
"She's obviously worried about the imminent court case and the exercise is really helping to keep her calm.
"Although a prison sentence is highly unlikely, if found guilty it is a possibility so she's taking no chances. Tulisa will be an obvious target if she goes to prison."
Tulisa was the subject of a newspaper sting by The Sun, and was arrested in June 2013 after reportedly offering to set up an £800 cocaine deal with an undercover reporter.
Her lawyer Ben Rose said last month his client would be denying the charge and claimed she joined a line of celebrities who had been used as "fodder by greedy newspapers".
However, CPS London chief Crown prosecutor Baljit Ubhey said also last week there was "a realistic prospect of conviction and that a prosecution is in the public interest".
