Kate Middleton is a lady who likes a high street fix as well as a designer one - but according to the blog What Kate Wore our favourite Duchess has parted ways with London based label Issa. And it's not down to the brand's latest collaboration with Banana Republic - which by the way has a line of dresses much like THAT blue engagement dress.
The contributing factors to Kate's change of heart? Daniella Helayel, Issa's founder, has now left the company AND shares were sold to Camilla al-Fayed.
Incase you're thinking "what's the biggy here?" - remember that Camilla's father Mohamed al-Fayed was pretty vocal about his disdain for the royal family after the death of his son Dodi and Diana. In fact he financed the film Unlawful Killing which was pretty scathing about the Queen and Prince Philip. Eek.
Whether Kate is just exploring new fashion avenues or she really is keeping her distance from Issa now that Camilla is a shareholder - there is no way her stylish ways will suffer.
Take a look through this style file - she knows exactly how to do classic, understated, stunning wares...
