Congratulations to Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall! The Queen's granddaughter has given birth to a baby girl at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
Buckingham Palace has confirmed that her husband Mike Tindall was present at the birth and the baby weighed 7lbs 12oz.
The Palace released the following statement on Friday morning:
"The Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Mike's parents, Mr Phillip and Mrs Linda Tindall, have been informed and are delighted with the news.
"The baby's name will be confirmed in due course."
Tindall also tweeted this message:
Zara's hopes for a "no frills" birth at her local hospital went according to plan. The baby will not be given a royal title as Zara wants her upbringing to be as "normal" as possible.
Hurrah! There's another royal baby!
