Zooey Deschanel is the cover star of InStyle's August issue and the American actress looks incredible in a purple print dress and skinny red scarf by Prada.
The whole 1960s chic vibe totally suits Deschanel, and her porcelain complexion, big blue eyes and signature tresses make her the perfect cover girl.
In her interview with the magazine the 34-year-old New Girl actress talks being normal and not obsessing over designer brands when it comes to fashion.
During the photoshoot, Zooey told the mag that she thinks it's "so dumb" to worry over whether you're wearing designer or not. She's also not a fan of showing too much skin, "There is an audience for more modest clothes," she says. Our sentiments exactly.
On the matter of her dark wavy tresses and full fringe Zooey explains that she established the look early on in her acting career so that she was really recognisable.
"I do see the advantage of having something people can grab onto," she told InStyle. "'Hey, I know who that is-she has bangs!'"
