The baby will be Jacqueline’s first child, while Dan already has one son Teddy, who is 8 months old.
The couple, who confirmed their relationship last month, released a statement via their spokesperson, which reads: “We're thrilled by our news.”
“Becoming a father has been the most amazing thing to ever happen to me,” adds Dan. “I can't believe I'm going to be dad again - I'm truly blessed.”
A rep from ‘EastEnders’ has congratulated the actress, who plays Lauren Branning in the soap, stating: “Everyone at EastEnders is thrilled for Jacqueline.”
This is thought to be the pair’s second time in a relationship together, following a brief romance in 2013.
While Lauren currently stars on the BBC1 soap, Dan recently signed up to tour with male strippers The Dreamboys.
It is thought that Jacqueline will give birth next year.
