Always wanted to own a little piece of Madonna? How about getting your hands on her used underwear?
Lingerie worn by the star on her 2014 V Magazine cover is set to be sold by Julien's Auctions of Beverly Hills on 7 November and is expected to fetch between $1,000 and $4,000 (£600 and £2,500).
The racy cover in question features Madonna alongside pop princess Katy Perry in a variety of leather, corsets and thigh-high boots in a very 50 Shades of Grey-inspired shoot. The item will go on sale along with the latex mask, waspie, gloves and bra from the shoot.
When asked by the New York Post whether it would be 'creepy' for someone to own Madonna's underwear, her publicist Liz Rosenberg replied, "If the shoe fits, then wear it in good health." Alrighty then.
Also up for auction is Madonna's diary from 1988, which features handwritten accounts of dates with her former husband Sean Penn and a signed document relating to the former couple's separation.
Despite the intimate nature of the auction items, Rosenburg told the New York Post's Page Six columnthat Madonna has no idea that the sale is taking place. She also added, "I don't believe any of what is being auctioned off was in Madonna's possession."
Madge is probably too busy to notice the sale of a couple of her former-items anyway. For her 56th birthday earlier this month, Madonna partied in style in a luxurious villa in France with an A-list guest list including supermodel Kate Moss.
