Olivia Wilde decided to milk her moment while taking the Ice Bucket Challenge - by throwing what she claimed to be a bucket full of breast milk over her head.
"I hope it's OK, I couldn't find any water, so I'm going to use breast milk," the 30-year-old Tron actress and new mum said with a deadpan expression.
"It took me all night to make this," she added, before drenching herself in an unfeasibly large amount of iced milk.
Surprisingly many people were taken in by Olivia's claim that she had managed to express a vat of breast milk overnight, with lots of commenters expressing their concern that her four-month-old son Otis would be going hungry.
So Olivia responded with the following Tweet to set the record straight:
Olivia was nominated to take on the challenge by Glee star Dianna Agron and child actor Ty Simpkins. She in turn has nominated Prince, American politician Cory Booker and feminist writer Gloria Steinem.
Olivia was recently photographed breastfeeding Otis for Glamour magazine.
"Breastfeeding is the most natural thing," she said. "I don't know, now it feels like Otis should always be on my breast."
