Kimberley Walsh has given birth to a baby boy called Bobby - her first baby with long-term partner Justin Scott.
The Girls Aloud star, 32, took to Twitter on Friday (September 5) to share the happy news with fans.
She wrote:
In a recent interview, Kimberley said was looking forward to easing up on her hectic schedule during maternity leave.
The singer confirmed she was pregnant in February, tweeting: "Justin and I are so happy to let you all know we are having a baby!!! Couldn't wait to share our lovely news with you all."
Opening up about the moment they discovered she was expecting on New Year's Day, she admitted to crying with joy.
She later told OK! magazine: "I was overcome with emotion, I don't know where it came from.
"I saw the baby wriggling away and burst into tears, crazily so. It suddenly felt real and it mustn't have done until that point."
The couple have been together for over 10 years, since the beginning of Kimberley's days in the hit girl group.
She is the second member of the band - who split last year after a 10th anniversary tour - to become a mum. Nadine Coyle welcomed a daughter, Anaiya, in February.
