While some of us may know our place within the Milky Way it's likely that very few of us really know where our place is within the universe.
Well YouTube channel nature video has decided to set the record straight and put us in our place, literally.
The video explains that scientists in Hawaii have developed a new technique for mapping the universe according to the flow of galaxies rather than simply trying to bunch them into groups.

By analysing the flow of galaxies they were able to create more accurate superclusters and as a result have found exactly where the Milky Way is in relation to the rest of the known universe.
In case you're wondering we're on the edge of a supercluster known as Laniakea.
