Each year, the BP Big Screens programme broadcasts live performances to cinemas across the country, thrilling thousands of opera lovers.
2014 marks the 25th anniversary of the partnership with BP which has enabled half a million people to enjoy world-class opera and ballet through free live broadcasts from the Royal Opera House beamed to big screens in their home town.

In 2013, BP Big Screens reached more than 45,000 people from Aberdeen to Plymouth -- their most successful season ever. And the audience continues to grow with every performance.
In May of this year, the live-stream of La traviata had 15,731 views in 105 countries.
