Telling those close to you that you are pregnant is a tricky business.
Expectant parents have to choose their words carefully to break the news to soon-to-be-grandparents and siblings, but just how do you tell a beloved pet that they will soon have to share your affections?
Stephania Sayler knew the time had come to tell her pet dog Junie that she was pregnant with a baby girl.
Junie had noticed her owner's expanding stomach, but thought she'd just been eating a little more than normal. So Stephania sat her down on the couch to deliver the good news.
The unsuspecting pooch thinks she and Stephania are just settling down for a cuddle, until Stephania looks her in the eye and says:
"I gotta talk to you... There's a baby in here.. You're a big sister."
The baffled dog's first response is to gently nip at Stephanie's bump - and who can blame her, normally when her owner points out a stick or a dropped morsel of food it's a cue for Junie to pick it up - until she's put off by the taste of coconut oil.
Since being uploaded to YouTube on July 17, the video has been viewed more than 1.5 million times - proving perhaps that many people are looking for the best way to announce a pregnancy to a pet?!
