Emmerdale star Adam Thomas's girlfriend Caroline Daly gave birth to a baby boy on Monday (September 8).
The 27-year-old actor, who plays Adam Barton in the soap, announced the news and revealed his son's name in a tweet at 10.46pm on September 8.

He then shared the photo above on Instagram showing him cradling his tiny son along with the caption: "Nobody said it would feel this good! #teddyjamesthomas #fathersson #myboy."
However, as the reality of the sleepless nights ahead of him dawned on the tired new dad, he tweeted:
Teddy shares a middle name with his uncle - Adam's older brother Ryan James Thomas, who plays Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street and has a five-year-old daughter Scarlett with his ex and former Corrie co-star Tina O'Brien. He tweeted: "I'm an uncle!!!! #TeddyJameThomas."
