Tommy Hilfiger's inspiration for Spring/Summer 2015 at his New York Fashion Week show today was crystal clear: 1960s music festival.
With a flower-strewn catwalk and a soundtrack featuring songs from The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, Hilfiger's model-rockers stormed onto the catwalk wearing all of the iconic silhouettes from the 1960s and 1970s: pea coats, drummer boy jackets, lurex scarves, patchwork denim, flared trousers, hot pants and printed mini-dresses.
While the mood was all about flower power, star prints dominated, showing up everywhere from fur coats to sheer chiffon dresses (as well as on tights and ankle boots) and the show catered to Glasto-loving babes and rock star progeny (Georgia May Jagger was the first model on the catwalk, while Alexandra Richards, Tali Lennox and Amber Le Bon all sat front row).
Kendall Jenner also modelled in the show, wearing a revealing bikini top and hot pants ensemble (with star body tattoos) and a sheer chiffon star-print gown.
