Christopher Raeburn'sSpring/Summer 2015 collection 'Ascent' reaffirmed his focus on function and innovative fabric in fashion.
His trademark military aesthetic has been reworked to create a new line of womenswear that is his most feminine yet.
The re-made concept continues with the use of parachute material and fighter pilot suits - however, there is a gentle elegance seen through the print, the inky pastel colourways and the stunning silhouettes.
Weather and map prints are worked across oversized tops, shorts, shirt dresses and outerwear. Then there's *those* pink parachute pieces and the silk organza separates (all about the reveal) that play up the Raeburn woman.
The collection, Raeburn's fifth at London Fashion Week, ticks boxes when it comes to wearable (check the black and navy sheer-sleeved bomber and pencil skirt look), practical (backpacks, hoods, walking sandals), trans-seasonal womenswear.
