Milan Fashion Week has started - after a fabulous week of shows in London - and all eyes were on the GucciSpring/Summer 2015 catwalk.
The brand's ready-to-wear collection showcased a beautiful 1970s-inspired palette (orange, red, brown, blue, green) that was worked across silk print kimonos, trousers, halter-neck, long-sleeved and plunging dresses, fabulous fur outerwear and just-above-the-knee skirts.
Texture wise, the catwalk was hot on: suede, denim, snakeskin, mesh and sequin embellishment.
The vibe was definitely retro and next season the Gucci woman more fashion authority than ever - she wears neckerchiefs, lace-up dresses and is never without a luxe leather belt.
