Top-to-toe blue is a big trend for Autumn/Winter 2014 and if Giorgio Armani gets his way, this colour story will continue into spring.
The fashion designer presented his Emporio Armani Spring/Summer 2015 collection on the second day of Milan Fashion Week - and his blue-based pieces are sure to go down a storm on the beach next summer.
Nautical stripes were seen on playsuits with plunging necklines and blazers were adorned with white hems - a preppy contrast to the slouchy shorts and skirts.
The collection had a sporty edge - emphasised by those blue-rimmed sunglasses - and yes, the trend for trainers has made its way over to Italy (these cut-out styles are sure to be a sell out.)
But the show wouldn't have been complete without Armani's dazzling evening wear. This time, the look was all about high-shine thanks to the addition of ruffled party dresses accessorised with matching envelope clutches.
