Miranda Kerr has gone all out geisha for Vogue Japan's 15th anniversary cover photographed by Mario Testino and styled by the magazine's editor-at-large Anna Dello Russo.
While we're used to seeing Kerr play glamorous cover star in slinky, sparkly designer clobber (or just a white vest and pants for *that* GQ magazine cover) this Japanese-inspired look definitely suits.
The 31-year-old Australian model wears an array of beautiful looks: textured outerwear, bandage moccasins, tribal prints, tassels, feathers and a plunging Gucci dress with frill detailing. The tone is Japanese warrior princess and Kerr looks pretty amazing.
It's not just the stunning fashion either, check the hairstyles. The jet black, the traditional updos (so trying out the bun and topknot thing again) and blue streaks created by stylist Sam McKnight complete the whole look.
Make up artist Charlotte Tilbury was behind Kerr's natural look for the November issue titles 'Obsession' which was subtle but with definition on the eyes and brows.
Take a look at these photos from the shoot which Vogue Japan shared on Instagram.
Miranda split with her former husband Orlando Bloom back in October 2013 and now lives in New York with their son Flynn.
The couple are said to be on good terms - despite the fact that Bloom had a punch up with Justin Bieber in Ibiza this July because Bieber reportedly "went on a date" with Kerr while she was still with the Pirates Of The Caribbean actor.
Kerr may be playing single mum, but the model is in no shortage of high profile, high fashion gigs. This Vogue Japan shoot is proof that she's mixing things up, we're liking this look on her a lot.
