The rumours were true!
Rita Ora will follow in Jessie J and Kylie Minogue's footsteps when she joins judges Tom Jones, will.i.am and Ricky Wilson on the fourth series of The Voice.
The BBC confirmed the news on Tuesday and the 23-year-old singer was quick to celebrate her new job on Instagram and Twitter.
She posted the picture above with the caption, "So excited to be part of; and for my team to win The Voice this series!! Let's have some fun Will, Tom and Ricky!! Looking forward to the blind rounds – and spinning in my big red chair. EXCITED!!!!"
Rita also tweeted:
will.i.am was equally happy about Rita joining the line-up.
"Sir Tom Jones is our rock, Ricky is awesome and it's our pleasure to welcome the very talented Rita Ora," he told the BBC. "Rita is sweet, spicy and sassy - she's going to be a great addition to the coaches team."
In August, the Daily Mirror reported Rita took on The Voice role after she turned down Simon Cowell's X Factor offer.
"It has taken months of negotiations but Rita is happy and thinks the show is a much better fit for her than the X Factor," the source told the newspaper.
"She'll still be able to get on with her music and it won't take over her life as much as the X Factor."
Can't wait to see Rita on the new series? The Voice will launch in January 2015.
