Reese Witherspoon recently sold the Los Angeles home she bought two years ago and as the pictures listed on property site Zillow show, it's not your average three-bedroom cottage.
Think stunning interiors, three en-suite bathrooms, a large private swimming pool and a leafy garden with a terrace made for soaking up the California sun.
The Daily Mail reports the 38-year-old Oscar winner sold the house, located in the upmarket LA neighbourhood Brentwood, for $3.55 million (that's just over £2 million) after buying it for $3 million in December 2012.
Real estate website Trulia describes it as 'teardown home' - a term used when an existing building is demolished and replaced with a new one.
Before Reese bought it, the .66 acre plot housed a "charming 3,053 square foot cottage" that had not been on the market in 40 years. After giving it a revamp, the actress was ready to let go of the property.
Although it's on the small side in celebrity home terms, there's another reason why Reese was so keen to snap it up in the first place. The cottage was located next door to two other lots of land she owned.
With the purchase of her Pacific Palisades mansion and another new pad in her hometown of Nashville, Reese is also selling her larger "Spanish-style estate" on the Brentwood cul-de-sac for an even larger sum - $10.5 million (around £6.4 million.)
Sounds like Ms. Witherspoon is something of a property mogul.
