Claudia Winkleman is known for having the best fringe on television, but what else do you know about the 42-year-old presenter?
As she joins Tess Daly to host the 12th series of Strictly Come Dancing, here's a few facts on Claude...
1. Her family is famous.
Claudia is the daughter of author and former Sunday Express editor Eve Pollard and publisher Barry Winkleman. Claudia's younger half-sister is Peep Show star Sophie Winkleman (who is married to Freddie Windsor, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent's son) and her husband is Kris Thykier, a film producer best known for his work on Kick-Ass and Stardust.
2. She's well educated.
Claudia grew up in Hampstead and went to the City of London School for Girls in the Barbican before studying history of art at Cambridge.
3. She's been presenting TV shows for 23 years.
Claudia started her television career with appearances on Live! TV and the regional Central Weekend show in 1991. She went on to be a showbiz reporter for This Morning and worked on Holiday and Hells Kitchen before hosting the reality series Fame Academy, the Film Show and Strictly spin-off It Takes Two.
4. She hates wearing lipstick, but loves self tan and eyeliner.
Claudia has spoken about how she likes to look "orange" and even applies the fake stuff before she goes on holiday. One thing she can do without? Bright lippy. When Claudia first signed up to work on It Takes Two, she got letters saying, "Please God, wear a lipstick!"
5. Motherhood has interfered with her haircare routine.
Claudia is mum to Jake, 10, Matilda, 7, and Arthur, 3. After giving birth to her youngest, she spoke to Stylist magazine about balancing work with motherhood. "I hated the idea of leaving him and immersed myself in full babyness - I didn't wash my hair for three months," she said. Lovely.
6. She started her career in fashion.
Before working in television, Claudia landed an internship at Vogue and worked as a fashion assistant at Tatler.
