The Good Morning Britain presenter shared the news that she's expecting 'the first GMB baby' during this morning's show (August 12).
She then confirmed the 'breaking news' on Twitter.
Co-host Susanna Reid was quick to tweet her congratulations along with a picture of Charlotte's as yet undetectable baby bump.
Sean Fletcher also shared a snap of Charlotte 'getting in some practice' with a set of triplets on the show. Although Charlotte was quick to point out that as far as she's aware, she only has one on the way!
Carol Vorderman also shared some words of advice.
The Good Morning Britain team already have seven children between them - Susanna has three sons, Ben Shepard has two sons and Sean has a son and a daughter.
Former Sky presenter Charlotte, 39, admitted that keeping her pregnancy a secret from her co-hosts was a struggle as she feared her cravings for biscuits and chocolates would give her away!
Charlotte's first baby with her husband Mark Herbert is due in February 2015.
