Get the hankies out: George Clooney, one of the world's hottest men, is officially now a married man. Amal Alamuddin is one lucky lady.
The couple said "I do" in an intimate but star-studded ceremony at the Aman Canal Grande resort in Venice, Italy, on Saturday.
According to People magazine, the actor's rep said in a statement: "George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin were married today in a private ceremony in Venice, Italy."
The newlyweds welcomed guests to Venice on Friday (pictured top).
The former mayor of Rome, Walter Veltroni, then married the couple in a ceremony on Saturday that was watched by stars like U2 frontman Bono, Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Bill Murray, Cindy Crawford and her husband - and Clooney's best man - Rande Gerber.
Crowds gathered to watch Clooney and his 90 guests make their way in style to the Aman hotel in a flotilla of vintage water taxis.
According to the BBC, George's boat was momentarily blocked by a cruise liner and then a water bus, giving paparazzi time to catch up and take a few photos.
Amal was last seen on Friday night looking stunning in a red Alexander McQueen dress as she celebrated her impending nuptials with family and friends.
George, of course, was handsome as ever in a black tailored tux and bow tie.
It has been reported the wedding pictures will appear in US Vogue. And editor-in-chief Anna Wintour's presence at the wedding could mean that particular rumour is true.
George popped the question to his British lawyer bride in April after a whirlwind seven-month relationship, proposing with a seven-carat emerald-cut diamond ring.
According to E! News, the couple will continue to celebrate with friends over the weekend and will file the paperwork that will make their union official on Monday.
We can't wait to see Amal in her wedding dress.
