Victoria Beckham has more than earned her stripes in the fashion industry, so it's safe to follow her lead on the style front.
This autumn's must-have item according to Mrs Beckham? A sleeveless knitted vest top. Paired with a white shirt and Peter Pan collar, ideally.
This was Victoria doing business woman chic leaving her New York hotel on Friday.
Said vest top - the kind of thing you might shrug off as dated and dowdy - is fresh from the Louis Vuitton Autumn/Winter 2014 runway, and it definitely suits.
She's taken the exact catwalk look and swapped in a pair of tailored trousers (she is a a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations now), a pair of sexy black stilettos and an envelope clutch from her own collection.
In other VB news, the designer lady has officially opened her first store in London's very stylish Dover Street.
"I'm not about making a big song and dance of things," she told Vogue magazine.
"You kind of have to come inside and experience it all for yourself."
The big question is, when will we see David and Brooklyn in the Mayfair store? VB has joked about it, but we *really* need to see this happen.
"I'll be behind the till, David will be on the door, with Brooklyn working as a Saturday boy," she told Grazia backstage at her Spring/Summer 2015 New York Fashion Week show.
