Actress Verity Rushworth attended the Inside Soap Awards yesterday (Wednesday, October 1), along with a very special plus one – her on screen daughter, played by the adorable Amelia Flanagan.
Verity, who played Donna Windsor in the soap, left the Dales in August when her character died in a nasty fall.
Donna left behind a young daughter, April, played wonderfully by little Amelia.
The pair were reunited on red carpet at the posh do, where they enjoyed a cuddle for the cameras.
Amelia completely stole the show in her gorgeous red frock (sorry, Verity), and also walked away with the gong for Best Young Actress.
In the show, April's dad is hapless Marlon Dingle.
The little girl is still in the soap following her mum's death, with the character gradually adjusting to life without her mum.
