Simon Cowell has announced that he is preparing his successor to take over his position on X Factor.
However, Simon's replacement's training is set to take quite a long time - many years in fact, as he is currently only seven months old!
Simon made his comeback on The X Factor panel this summer, alongside returning judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, former Spice Girl Melanie Brown and music manager Louis Walsh.
Speaking to his ex girlfriend Terri Seymour on ITV's Lorraine on Monday, October 6, Simon was asked whether his mini-me son will follow in his showbiz shoes.
"One hundred per cent - Eric is going to take over," he said, before adding that Eric is already picking up some of his 'naughty ways' and is developing his own technique for showing his disapproval - by sticking out his tongue.
"I've shown him a few [naughty ways]," said Simon. "I like it when they're naughty."

However, Eric differs from his father in one important way - his natural disposition.
"He's probably the happiest baby I've ever seen in my life - considering who the parents are!" said Simon.
"He's doing amazing - he travels with us a lot, but he's good, he adapts really quickly and he's really, really happy."
Simon may be happy for his son to show off his naughty side, but he's admitted his own mother, 88-year-old Julie, wouldn't let him get away with such cheek.
"She still loves to tell me off," Simon told Radio 1. "The worst thing she can say to me if I'm got my friends round is, 'Simon stop showing off' and there's no answer back to that.
"It happened to me once when I was 15 and I brought this girl round for Sunday lunch. I was showing off. Then my mum said, 'Simon stop showing off' and I literally couldn't think of a reply."
