1. How to make an Oreo cookie cake (serves 8)
You will need:
220g plain flour, plus extra for dusting
400g sugar
75g good quality cocoa powder
2tsp baking soda
1tsp baking powder pinch of salt
250ml buttermilk
120ml vegetable or sunflower oil
3 large eggs
2 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 packet of Oreo cookies
200g unsalted butter, at room temperature
400g icing sugar
150 ml whipping cream

2. How to make double layered chocolate cake (serves 8)
For the cake you will need:
85g dark chocolate,
360 ml brewed coffee
350g flour
600g sugar
120g unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3 eggs
180ml vegetable oil
360ml buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla essence
For the icing:
170 g dark chocolate
170 g milk chocolate
450g crème fraiche
2 tsp vanilla essence
A pinch of salt
