How would you describe your interior style? Is there a link between your interior aesthetic and dress sense?

I think it's definitely girly but with a slightly eclectic unexpected edge. There's a real mish mash of cultural trinkets on this English/Hong Kong foundation so there's definitely a correlation with my dress sense.

Both your office and home are located in Islington. What do you love and hate about the area?

When I first moved here from Hong Kong I lived in Covent Garden which was fun but it had no neighbourhood vibe. I love the villagey feel of Islington and the fact it's so quiet but central London is still only 10 minutes away.

How do you unwind after work when you arrive home?

Generally with food, a bath and book for an hour. I always end up back on my laptop though until the early hours.

Has living in Hong Kong influenced your interior style and general aesthetic?

Yes, definitely. There's lots of dark wood and Buddhas everywhere. Everything is quite symmetrical too or arranged in a chi way!

You travel frequently to far flung places for work. What's the most impressive interior you've ever visited?

The guy who founded Creative Artists Agency, Michael Ovitz, has the most incredible house in LA - it's a fully fledged art gallery.

Where are your favourite places to shop for yourself and home?

I love finding things at antique fairs or car boots, otherwise I know some furniture makers in Hackney and usually ask them to do a commission. Failing that I'll just go to Tottenham Court Road to Habitat etc!

Can you describe your dream home?

Lots of glass, lots of modern art, ocean view and a fish tank wall.
